Firstly, I think it is important to acknowledge your strength. You have already taken the first step towards making change and I would be honored to have the opportunity to help.

In order to know more about me as a therapist, I’ll provide some information about myself and how I would like to support you on this journey:

Do you find yourself worrying about the future or stuck in regrets of the past? Have you been struggling to connect with people in your life and feel comfortable in your own skin? In order to transition into adulthood, are you feeling that your feelings are out of control?

As a therapist in Philadelphia, PA…

My goal is to help people understand their experiences in a way that promotes growth and healing. I want my counseling approach to be a collaborative relationship built on curiosity, reflection, and insight. My life experiences and desire to help others are what drove me to become a therapist. Below is some information about myself and how I would like to support you in navigating this process.

My name is Ashley Regina and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

I would describe my counseling approach as first and foremost client-centered. It’s based on the belief that you already possess the resiliency and qualities required to flourish in your life. My role is to help you discover these qualities and connect you with tools that can support your growth and healing. Incorporating evidence-based interventions is important to me. These interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skills, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, and Mindfulness skills. Motivational Interviewing is also important in my rapport-building. I understand that the first step to an effective therapeutic relationship is building trust and a healthy rapport. By providing a non-judgemental environment, I hope to allow us to work together to reach your goals. I would be honored to hear your story and support you in your journey.

Get started with Ashley for Counseling in Pennsylvania or New Jersey

Upon receiving an inquiry, I will contact you to set up a 15-minute phone consult. We can speak about what has led you to seek counseling services. This is an opportunity for each of us to ask questions and see if I may be a good fit as your therapist. During our first session, we will further explore what brings you to counseling and work together to set goals for therapy. I believe it is important for us to check in periodically on goals we set for therapy: this helps us assess progress and adjust as needed.
